We found our first cache in Tennessee!!!

Well, we took Dustin, Uncle James, Robbie, and Jenny on their first Geocache while we were on vacation. We did not have our GPS but still managed to find it. Ashley found it all on her own. We were disappointed not to find the Geocoin that was supposed to be in there. We had hoped to get to take it back to Illinois with us and really get the traveling going. We did get some germ-x spray and a Nevada pin. We didn't have much but we managed to find a new car scent air freshener in Dustin's truck so we left it. We really wanted to do more Geo's but we ran out of time.

Stony Creek is high but it doesn't interfere with the cache.

Hey all you out there. I ran out to the Lincoln at Stony Creek Cache to make sure will all the rain it was still there and dry. It is and it is still accessible. If anyone goes out there, the gate is open to the cows but they do not cross the gate. I know the owner of the cows and he assured me they will not cross the grated part because they will get their hoofs caught in it. Well, a calf was out today and we called him. Once I got out of the car the calf wanted to cross the grate but did not. Finally the calf went under the electric fence and got a shock as it's back touched the wire. I don't think it will be coming out again. Happy Hunting!

True Cachers Cache No Matter What Day It Is!

Ok so it is Mother's Day. So, this mother likes to Go Geocaching and that is what we did. HulaGirl25 and WesChr2381 were in town and we were all waiting to go to eat lunch with Mom and Grandma so we wasted some time caching. They have not found the hides that the Queens had put out and so we did those and a few others that have recently been hide in Danville. What fun we had! The girls had a hard time not telling where the caches were but all went well.

The Queens found the Liberty Tree and The Mall caches today. We really loved the fun we had. Although there was an angry mamma bird at the Mall cache! She was not happy but we quickly got in, took the cache to the car, signed the log, and returned it.

I would really love to see more cachers from Danville. I think we need to have an event here. Anyhow, the Queens and HulaGirl 25 did their parts by practicing CITO! Check us out!
We will have more pictures tomorrow when I find my other camera. Thanks for Caching with us HulaGirl25 and WesChr2381!

We found The Temple.

Today the girls and I had a few minutes while we ran to town before practice so we stopped by The Temple. We just had a few muggles so mom was watching the birds nest and pointing to it while the girls looked up for the cache. This was a supper great cache. The girls loved it. Now, putting it back wasn't too hard but there were a ton more muggles around. We got out the binoculars, mom and Ash spied the birds nest while Nicki put it back. Then we switched and Nicki watched the nest while Ash checked to see if it was put back right.
